While 3500mAh represents the peak capacity for mainstream 18650 lithium-ion cells, most existing products are limited to standard temperature ranges between 0°C and 60°C. To meet the growing demands of industrial customers operating in extreme environments, UltraXel has invested significant R&D resources over the past two years to develop a high-capacity, wide-temperature 18650 3500mAh cell.
The current sample has successfully met development targets, demonstrating stable and reliable performance across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. Notably, after 720 hours of high-temperature storage at 85°C, the cell maintains over 90% recoverable capacity, highlighting its exceptional durability and thermal resilience.
This breakthrough will empower industrial clients with enhanced product differentiation and stronger competitive positioning. Mass production is expected within the next 12 months. We look forward to the launch of the UltraXel 18650Z, confident that it will unlock new levels of performance and value for our customers.
